Who We Are

Welcome to The Dialmaker — a small workshop near the coast of Andalucía, where every custom watch dial is made to order.
I’m Mario, the dialmaker. I work with fine metals and laser tools to develop and refine our dial designs, one dial at a time. Elena, my partner, supports the process with her background in fine arts – especially when colour or painting is involved. We’re not a factory. Just two people who care deeply about the details.
Every dial is made to order – no minimums, no pressure. Whether you’re creating a one-off mod, starting a microbrand, or just chasing a design idea you can’t stop thinking about, you’re in good hands here.

What materials do you use for the dials?

We primarily use brass and titanium, both of which work beautifully with fine laser engraving. We can also advise you on finishes and coating compatibility depending on your build.

Can I order just one custom dial?

Absolutely. There’s no minimum order. Whether you need one dial or a small batch, we’re happy to work with you.

Can you engrave logos, text, or patterns?

Yes! We can engrave vector-based designs that fit our dial layouts, including logos, custom textures and graphic details, and personal touches. Share your file or reference, and we’ll confirm what works within our process.

Can you add colour or paint to a dial?

Yes. Elena offers micro-painting for selected elements such as logos or small details, using enamel or other durable paint options. Colour choices may vary depending on your base material.

What movements are your dials compatible with?

Most of our clients use Seiko NH35 or similar movements, but we can accommodate different dial specs (thickness, feet placement, etc.) for various calibres. Let us know what you need.

How long does a custom dial take?

It usually takes 1–2 weeks from final details confirmation to shipping, depending on the complexity of the piece and our current workload.
